Units are patroling or they are told to do something from a high ranking unit, if you are told to do something from a high ranking unit then do it. If you see a OfC or higher theb salute because you can die from not saluting. Ground units may only patrol in districts 1, 2 and 3, unless high ranking unit. If you don't like the combine anymore you may go rouge which is a rebel MPF unit. You will be very hunted by overwatch ellites if you are a rouge MPF unit that got caughed. When attempting to join the rebels, they will take you hostage because you are not trusted.
